Mmm, maybe. The crafting (accesories/gifts) table is separate from the forge proper. With the second level forge, there's a small, inconspicuous table that lets you make the crafts. I only found it by accident, so I can't say for sure that it's there with the starter forge. But look near your forge for a table that wasn't there before. Or at least a table that lets you do something with it. Hopefully it's already there.
