Should I buy a Xbox 360 or a PS3 ?

The ps3 in reality hasnt got anything the xbox hasnt got softwear wise! Plus the xbox versions are usualy bigger sellers and higher rated!

MGS4: Fable II. What? You're comparing a stealth third person shooter to a WRPG?

LittleBigPlanet = Banjo Kazooie? You're comparing a 2D platformer with an emphasis on user creation to a 3D platformer centred around vehicles?

Singstar: Lips. It's not as good, but yup.

FF13: FF13. Duh.

Okay, since we're making lists:

MGS4, LittleBigPlanet, Uncharted, Killzone 2, Resistance, Resistance 2, Valkyria Chronicles, Heavenly Sword, Folklore, WipEout HD, R&CF: Tools of Destruction, inFamous (in a few weeks), Demon's Souls, Naruto Ultimate Ninja Storm.

EDIT: How long until the next Uncharted? Around five months. The next Killzone? About a year and a half. May I ask what games the 360 has scheduled for 2010? We won't really know until December this year what either lineup will consist of, and even then, we won't know the full lineup until December 2010.

360 games have not "whooped" PS3 games for ratings, that is absurd. For sales, yes, but what does that have to do with anything? Are sales any indication of quality?

MGS has not come out on any non-Sony console since MGS2: Substance in 2002. MGS5 could go multiplat, but we have no idea if that will happen or not.

The PS3 has a lot that the 360 doesn't have software wise, and vice versa. The libraries are different, which is exactly why I am asking the OP to look at them! There is no right or wrong answer here. It's all opinion.

I'd also like to add that LBP has a higher metascore than any 360 exclusive.
