As you can see the Playstation would have been a more popular console if they focused on 3rd party exclusives. Now they make their own games and it typically falls dead last.

I'm pointing out its the 3rd party games that really move the PS3. Much like MGS4 did a great job at moving consoles. Sony developed/published don't quite do the same.

Gran Turismo says otherwise, and will continue to say otherwise when it releases as it will move more hardware than MGS4 did

Quick reminder, PS3 is the worst selling Sony console ever.
I can't imagine people are dying to buy a $400 console for GT5. If a PS3 price drop coincides with it then you'll see Sony agrees.
