Both Nintendo and Sony have screwed up the console market in Japan and their release schedules are terrible, though Nintendo's is looking half-way decent for the 2nd half of the year and the Wii has had some proven success in Japan earlier on. 

If there isn't a major change, Japan will be basically a portable only market soon enough. 

So why exactly, because there isn't too much difference.

WSR - Wii owners already have Wii Sports and many others sports minigames collections

Tales of Graces - This will be the second Tales game on the console

MH3 - The hardcore fans already bought a Wii for the demo (same argument starcraft gave for the PS3 and ACC)

Wii Fit Plus - Why would an add-on to a peripheral boost Wii sales?

Winter Olympics - The fanbase already has a Wii when they bought Summer Olympics.

I can use the same argument against you, and it doesn't hold up.
