I've never seen a shooter chart in the preorder data I get for Japan, since you tend to need 30,000 to be in the top twenty, and week one sales tend to 30% higher than final preorders. So I'd wager less than 30,000 for Killzone 2. It might do 20,000 since PS3 was so high on the demo last week, but I think since PS3 spiked to 57k it will actually drop back fairly fast, a bump to 30k, 35k would have lasted longer I imagine. In June 2008 PS3 went from 77k to 26k for MGS4 week one to MGS4 week two.

Monster Hunter G...Brett and I were discussing it earlier. It should do at least 88,000 week one based on the final preorder figures (assuming the MH3 disc didnt fuck up the scaling as it did with the FFXIII demo), and I'd call it a bomb if it did less than 45,000 day one (it will have legs). Brett was saying the franchise is much bigger than it used to be when the PS2 versions came out, so even if the PSP versions are to remain dominant (and they will) the Wii version of Monster Hunter G could top Monster Hunter and Monster Hunter G on PS2 which both did over 100k week one. Brett suggested the game could do 150,000, I think it will be more like 115,000-135,000 week one and ~70,000 to ~90,000 day one
