If that's the case, then they failed miserably.
After the conference, and when Nintendo realised they had screwed up big time, Nintendo tried to make that same excuse.
Thing is, every single person that saw it, thought it was total crap.
I doubt you could find anyone who thought otherwise. Anyone...
