| RPG said: The 360 is in a position where it outsells the PS3 due to the price, the amount of people who shout "if PS3 drops in price so will 360" I cannot help but feel that most think the only reason the 360 is chosen over the PS3 is price. That will never last, a point in time will come when people pay that little bit extra to bite the bullet, the PS3 outsold the 360 for a couple months when the price reduction had not happened correct? I'm not sure why people would choose PS3 over 360 TBH at this present time since the latter system has the best exclusives (IMO :O) and the better multi-plat games. With the exclusives arriving on the PS3 in the future I can only see the 360 struggling more and more. That is of course if MS does but money hat all first/second party games :P |
Microsoft doesn't money hat all of their games. They use money to acquire developers or DLC, but they do not money hat like Sony did famously with third party devs. They made it impossible for spending conscious consumers to tell the difference between the lineups of the PS3 and the 360, making the PS3 a non-factors especially in countries who are feeling the economy the most. Sony was not prepared, nor will they work with the customers during the economical situation. Microsoft sees this opening so they made it all about price.
After E3 you will see that the 360 a pretty good lineup just like the PS3. Neither systems have extremely impressive lineups in 2009. 2010 is when I expect the epic games to come out.
