Mega Man 9 is the true "next gen" thing. I couldn't ask for a better game from them. I really hope they make Mega Man 10 using the exact same engine with just different weapons and levels.
You do know they had a 3D mega man (Mega Man 64) and it sucked so bad. Why switch the gameplay when the 2D platform method works extremely well.
