I can see where they are coming from when they say it's not really needed. The Wii motion+ while cool and theoretically allowing for one to one motion tracking, will unfortunately rarely ever be used by developers. The reason for the Wii's success is that it is an accessible console played by everyone. If you were to add motion+ to wii tennis for example and grandma comes over for a game. She's not going to have much fun if everytime she wildly swings she hits the net. The Wii is good because it allows people who have never played tennis or golf before to play them. Thats the target audience, not pro golfers looking for a simulator.
