While Halo doesn't have any (noticeable, at least) load times during play, there is a considerable load time (it took me over a minute and a half the first time I played story mode) to start the first stage you want to play, and then about a 10-15 second load time after each level. It really isn't that big at all, but it's definitely there.

And that's WITH the game downloaded onto my HDD, so I don't know what the load times are like without it.

Load times are better from the disc with Halo 3.
