mgs4 has hours of cutscenes and came close to filling up the disc yet the install was smaller than re5 by almost 2 gigs.
ot: the game wont be 60gb since br only holds 50gb.
ur solution is only a solution if every 360 owner wanting to own this game buys a 40gb+ hdd. the dvd can hold the game and the cutscenes can be stord onto the hdd, but who in their right minds will fill up an entire hdd for one game?
the disc space issue will be solved via multiple discs. there is no other option with these chunky games.
just in case anyone mentiones the new dvd technology where they can put 1000x more data on a disc, it uses a certain material and requires a special laser to read it. the 360 has neither and the tech is a longway from going into production.
