There's little wrong with the game per se; it's just feeling the burden of unrealistic hype.
It's just that it seems as if people are judging the game based on these sales, and that's a shame. Hasn't it already been determined that sales =/= quality?
The ironic thing is that Wii fanboys (not fans, fanboys) are continually saying that sales are a measure of quality, and now they're saying the exact opposite. Pretty funny, actually.
Where are these fanboys? As far as I can tell, No More Heroes is one of the most revered games for the system and that didn't sell amazingly (it sold well, but not amazingly).
That's the thing. The moment it's a Wii title, the argument which they once used, they now reverse. I'm not saying it's you, but you must have seen people saying that the Wii's superior sales prove its superiority, and how Mario Kart Wii is better than Halo 3 because it sold better, same with Wii Fit and Wii Play, etc. etc.
Never played MadWorld or No More Heroes, but they both look like solid games.

Oh, don't worry, I'm not taking offense, I know you aren't talking about me :)
Hm ... I haven't seen it much, but that might be because I try to avoid most threads that'll coincide with fanboyism, regardless of which kind of fanboyism. I see your point and I can imagine it does happen a lot.
