Can the Wii stay ahead of the PS3 in Japan?

Not exactly a lot when you mention 3 titles and the one that is truly big won't even release in 2010.

PS3 has ToV, FFXIII plus a bunch of smaller jrpg titles incoming in 2009 alone.

Wii and ps3 will probably  be trading wins each week till the end of year but once dust settles it's ps3 that will sell more in 2009.

 

I wouldn't be so sure. Remember... Wii hasn't had any bundles, price cuts, colors...... if nintendo decides to do it, the wii would leave the ps3 behind this year. They just need to cut the price in japan, announced new colors, with some bundles... and voula(?) wii in the lead again
