I would make all my research money back, then I'd make enough to live comfortably on it and my kids set for life 
So I guess since I only have 2 choices I have to pick A.
Honestly, there are more than 2 choices in this life, so I'd pick a better approach that would maximize profits, since charging 1k per cure may not lead to maximized profits. I could probably sell it for $100/cure and still make good money on it, and almost everyone could afford $100 to be cured.
