The nintendo had epic first party games but the 3rd party ones were exactly like this generation- shovelware--and heavy at that.
ps1- the graphics were a bit better, the titles a bit more varied, and the fact that it used CDs was always helpful since Sony could just add another CD if memory became a problem.
