Why would you need motion sensing? Tekken is a 4 button fighter. the Wiimote and Nunchuk give you easy access to 4 buttons and an Analog stick for movement. The game only has 2 punches, and 2 kicks. Everything else comes from a combination of those and/or movement.

 

I think wierd part is the size and location of the buttons. I was talking about motion sensing implementation because that's what I first thing about when I think about a Wii game... I just think that anything other than the classic or perhaps the GC controller would be wierd for tekken on Wii.
