Well, not 100 of them. Something closer to 40. If LO is in my opinion the best jrpg ever, why could not I say it? Also it is nice to know that YOU would not consider it a top 10 all time.

You never stated it as an opinion.
Either way this argument is pointless. I am sure majority share my opinion here, plus you are 60+ JRPG short of my knowledge of what JRPG titles are out there and I personally believe that would make me much more informed of which could and/or should be considered more deserving of their placement.
Lost Odyssey brought nothing new, it was just old mechanics (other than the skill sharing pretty much) used all over again. That alone can not ever put it near the top.
A game like Xenogears for example has a battle system was way ahead of it's time, it was a mixture of 2-D and 3-D battle mechanics, combos, etc...
People rank of Legend of Dragoon, one in this thread said the battle system sucked. Legend of Dragoon is turn-based, much like Lost Odyssey is.
Legend of Dragoon had it where once you attack a box is over the enemy and another box would shrink and spin until it vanished while passing over the square that shown over the enemy. You must hit the attack button again when the 2 squares a lined up.
Sound familar?
Not bad for a system someone in here though sucked, only to see that the #2 game on his list shares a system very much similar.
iPhone = Great gaming device. Don't agree? Who cares, because you're wrong.
