And how do ppl expect a $100 price cut??? Did SONY make a huge profit from the games division last quarter???

First off, where did it ever say they lost all profit from the PSP?

Second off, how do you know whether or not they are losing money right now? Sony said last year that by this time in 2009 they will begin profiting from PS3 sales, not to mention they are probably already profiting from EU sales since the console price is higher.

Third off, PS2 is no longer selling? PS2 is still making profit so how did they lose all of it?

PS3 is doing good right now whether you wish to believe so or not.

So answer me this.

PS3 selling on par with 360 is bad news for Sony but 360 selling on par with PS3 despite being half the price is good for Microsoft?

 

I don't understand why he seems to think the PS3 is doing so badly, but to each, his own I guess.

 

Other than the previously stated "Sony lost all PS2 profits" from years ago all of which he said has no factual data to back it up.

People ask how they could afford a price drop, but they do not wonder how they keep developing so many games.
