Bluray is for HD tvs...It's HD. DVD won't go out unless the majority of people get an hD-TV.

every tv sold now is HDTV...

Go into most stores and 20% to 40% of the tvs are SDTV's. I have seen many people buying SDTV's not just based on their price and reliability but to them HDTV is just to much.

 you should probably tell your customers about the switch to a digital signal in 2009. Most SDTVs still dont support digital signals.
