Hmm... so hard to pick. It's a toss-up between Space Channel 5 Part 2 and Umjammer Lammy. I love them both. DON'T MAKE ME CHOOSE!!
Vib-Ribbon is fun, but the concept is more impressive than the execution. And Masaya Matsuura is definitely not dead of a massive drug overdose; his studio NanaOn-Sha is still going strong (most recently, they've produced the DS Corner Shop games and Major Minor's Majestic March for the Wii).
