"really bad"? Come on now. Can you honestly tell me you are going to be inconvenienced by going from 19 hours battery life to 15 hours? Or whatever the number is, it's still plenty. I remember a time I accidentally left mine on in sleep mode and left it at work over the weekend. Then on Monday I played it some more, and took it home. Battery was still going.
Besides, isn't part of the reduced life (at highest brightness settings) becasue the brightness simply has a higher upper limit?
