A term to define gamers who hate the new direction gaming is going and mainly only like the "traditional" games they've been getting for years on end. Gamers who basically only like "Bigger and better", more technically advanced games.

 

Then again, I don't see why it's crucial to identify them as some special group, considering there are many different types of gamers who have different preferences, and if we're going to lump the rest of them together, we might as well lump the "hardcore" gamers in with them. Either that or start making a bunch of classifications for different kinds of gamers, and then give everyone a label to walk around with.

Yeah, I don't really see the point. That doesn't mean that there doesn't exist a point I missed, however.
