Fils-Aime would soon best Kutaragi with the arrogance, he's slowly climbing up.

Fils-Aime: On the Wii side? No. Our objective is to sell as many consoles as possible. Up until recently our biggest problem has been having enough product going into the marketplace. We’re getting closer and closer to where supply and demand are intersecting. That creates us wonderful opportunity to provide even more marketing to Wii. For us, what prevents us from selling 800,000, 900,000 or a million units a month is our own ability to supply the marketplace and drive our marketing. It is not our competition.

The dude seriously thinks the wii can sell 800-900k at this time of the year LMAO.

If they were to drive their marketing into high gear and supply enough Wii's, I could see that happening.

The main point he was making with that statement is that the sales of the 360 and PS3 hardly affect the sales of the Wii. The 360 going down in price is hardly going to affect the sales of the Wii, and that's what he was saying.

Maybe if you didn't have such a bias against Reggie you could read more carefull and try to understand what he's trying to say. You don't have to be an ass to him just because you don't like him.

Besides, you didn't provide any evidence that they can't sell that many units.... so you're just blowing hot air from your mouth. I do agree that it seems a bit hard to imagine happening, but if they really got their motion going for marketing and produced enough Wiis, who knows. He also did mention in the interview that software sells hardware, so don't try to pull that card on me. :P
