$30 off a system that only seels 60k/week costs a lot less than $30 off a console that sells 170k/week.
In reality though, they now need to sell an extra 18k playstation 2's a week to be making the same amount of profit. (not including boosts in software sales, but they claimed they were getting rid of software liscensing fees too)
