No official DSi launch event in the UK

So, since they don't think the DSi lauch is a big enough deal for a launch event, that means they think their own product sucks and don't care if anyone buys it?

I can see that gamers would have enjoyed participating in a launch event, but is it really necessary to make puddles of fanboy tears out of this?
