Okay, a few things:

1) It would help if you could use your shift key. Really. A lot. Maybe spellcheck and a few more periods too.

2)It has been stated that fans shouldn't try to grasp for a cohesive Zelda timeline, as there really isn't one. The most plausible theories take into account multiple timelines.

3)There are not 'young' and 'adult' timelines. The general, logical consensus is that there are various incarnations of Link who generally have two games apeice, though if Spirit Tracks is indeed WW timeline then we'll have 3.

4)These various Links and their respective timelines, for the most part, have no concrete way of being chronologically measured up against each other. Treat 'em as seperate and ineffectual on each other if you don't have solid proof of their order.

5)See that part I bolded? Wrong. The Link of Legend is called the Hero of Time througout Wind Waker, not to mention (more importantly), TWILIGHT PRINCESS DID NOT EXIST WHEN WIND WAKER CAME OUT. WW Link is one of the few Link's whose timeline can be gauged against any other Link's; namely, the OoT/MM timeline, although even this is only heavily intimated, not explicitly stated in the games.

6)This is just me, but I disregard Minish Cap, I don't consider it canon. More a really good peice of fan-fic by Flagship that attempted to create a Zelda origin myth.

There is a split timeline. Aonuma was the one that started the whole child/adult timeline business in the first place.

"–When does Twilight Princess take place?

Aonuma: In the world of Ocarina of Time, a hundred and something years later.

–And the Wind Waker?

Aonuma: The Wind Waker is parallel. In Ocarina of Time, Link flew seven years in time, he beat Ganon and went back to being a kid, remember? Twilight Princess takes place in the world of Ocarina of Time, a hundred and something years after the peace returned to kid Link’s time. In the last scene of Ocarina of Time, kids Link and Zelda have a little talk, and as a consequence of that talk, their relationship with Ganon takes a whole new direction. In the middle of this game [Twilight Princess], there's a scene showing Ganon's execution. It was decided that Ganon be executed because he'd do something outrageous if they left him be. That scene takes place several years after Ocarina of Time. Ganon was sent to another world and now he wants to obtain the power..."

Also they have talked about there being a big book with the established timeline that connects all of the games.
