Well, back in the day I found the community one of the main reasons to join and I still love the community here.
However, if you have ideas how we can improve the site for newcomers they're very much welcome. That goes for everyone.
Edit: Please make that "Newbie of the Week thread"! I'll sticky it and we'll see how it goes.
