^ i actually see antfrom winning this one because i forsee an adjustment of upwards of 300k to l4d sales.
valve shipped 3million orange boxes. Now we only have 1 million accounted for. If brett was off by 100% that would be 1million copies for PC which would be 33:67 ratio versus 360 and ps3. same situation since the orange box was availble on steam.... actually the comparison favors the ps360 since halflife and episode 1 were already availble to the PC. In order for these ratos to match up brett must of undertracked orange box by 300% and all of them must be on the 360 ... which doesnt sound plausible... i think brett overtracking l4d by 15% sounds more reasonable (maybe more) also let me point out that the 16:84 ratio for NA to EU doesnt look right either.
IE - Bioshock 43:57, Halo 3(Which should have a more favorable ratio for NA than any title) 27:73, CoD4 - 28:72, CoDWaW - 30:70, CoD2 - 25:75, CoD3 - 31:69, GRAW - 30:70, R6V - 38:62, GRAW2 - 35:65, FC2 - 49:51, PDZ - 42:58, BFBC - 40:60, 007QS - 44:56
sorry seece but all signs point to overtracking in NA for L4D. The average EU:NA ratio for 360 FPS' is 36:64 ... even taking 300k from NA would make the ratio for L4D 19:81 which still looks unreasonable to me. i would suggest to take 300k from sales and take away 200k from na and add it to eu to make a 30:70 split
