Range, as in the angle it works or the distance between sensor bar and Wii remote?
Talking about the range of the sensor bar itself is a little misleading, since all it is a couple of sets of IR LED:s. If you have problems with the Wii Remote, you could try to set the sensitivity in the Wii settings and see if that helps.
