lol i will come clean.. it was just a j oke thread. i do plenty of threads like this. which is why ill never have any status in the elite group of vgchartz goers people.

Well, if I wasn't so swamped now I'd research what makes a "status" in a forum. For now, I'd wager that the following factors are present (in this order)

1: Content of posts - You will quickly be well known if you'd go to the sales forum now and predict 50 million for the PS3 end of '09. Be sure to constantly reply to detractors untill you are banned. Then repeat. Humerous posts are also a good way to get recognition (D21Lewis, Rubang, Squilliam), as is intelligence (Grampy, Intellivision)

2: Amount of posts. Soriku is the best example. He isn't as funny as D21Lewis or as nuts as LEo-J. But he is the biggest spammer with only Kirby rivaling him.

3: Avatar. It's instantly recognizable, usually more so then your name. If you have a good one, don't change it.
