I'll definitely give that a shot. My cooking skills need an upgrade, and sashimi's a good place to start.

And for the Green Ruins, make sure you beat the boss: not only can you teleport to his door afterwards (opening six 3x3 plots without having to encounter a single monster) but the strawberries started giving fruit each day. Tons of cash and, since it's a dungeon, free RP recharges each day...
