Edit: I don't think a PS3 uncut version or whatever would sell a whole lot better than SO4 on the 360. Timed exclusivity hasn't been too good this gen for sales.

Anyway, it will be interesting to see if Star Ocean really was the last hope for Microsoft. It's no good for JRPG makers to continue putting their big series exclusively on a console where nobody buys them, even if they are getting paid. Becoming dependent on subsidies from a Microsoft that doesn't seem all that committed to its own console is a loser in the long run for them.
