Hmmm, I wonder what sales are for Mario games when they are combined.

60 million, according to our numbers.

 

So 261M to 186M. 75M behind in 15 less years and Platinum should easily add another 5-6M easy bringing it to at least 261M vs. 191M.

Still seems to me like Pokemon is clearly the stronger seller.

I think they are trying to say that "game for game" Pokemon is the strongest selling franchise and they are probably right.
