sony doesn't need a price cut. When the JP numbers come in, the ps360 gap will be reduced somewhat. The Elite 360 isn't selling at all so I think it's safe to say that at least half of the 360s sold were the arcade model. If sony can still compete with double the price of the best-selling 360 SKU, I think they should leave the price right where it is. It's no point taking more losses and they won't have enough years to catch up to the 360 anyway.
Even if they do cut the price, M$ can probably give the 360 away for free so what's the point? Why not focus on profitability when the parent company is bleeding?
