I just hope that Atelier Rorona contains a good amount of voice acting. I'm playing one of Gust's other games right now (Ar Tonelico 2) and one of my major annoyances with the game is how very little and how very randomly placed the voice acting is.

It actually says in the article that it will have full voice acting for everything in the game :)

Good to hear.  I don't really need fantastic voice acting, it just weirds me out when a game has it sporadically like in Ar Tonelico 2.  I think I'd even be more ok with it if it had no voice acting at all, long as it is consistent.

I don't know about Ar Tonelico 2. Just got myself an US PS2 so am getting that game since it hasn't been released here... yet. Though Atelier games released in the West have a Japanese voice option, at least in Europe.

I'll give you my mini review I wrote in another thread:

"Unfortunately the below average graphics, missed grammatical errors in the translation, and sometimes extremely bad dialogue (jamming all the sexual innuendo you can into a game is dangerous) means that the fun battle system, very good replay value for a JRPG, and fantastic music can only bring this up to an average JRPG for me, so I'm trying to decide if it is worse or better than ES and ToS2."

that is my personal feeling on the game and I am around 30 hours into it.
