Anyone here think the 360 will outsell the PS3 3:1 in NA?

Unless we knew if/when the 40GB PS3 would come out, whether Sony will have any critically acclaimed games this holiday, and whether there will be any additional price cuts or discounts (MS offered heavy discounts last year), it's all pure speculation as to how the PS3/360 sales will relate.

I seriously doubt they would release this supposed 40gb ps3 with in 7 days. With out any publicity, advertisement, or acknowledgement of it.

Why advertise it in advance? That's a bad idea -- let people buy the other PS3s now, and advertise the 40GB model when the 40GB model comes out. That's all that makes any sense. For all we know, Sony could release the 40GB model tomorrow and we have no reason to suggest that doesn't make sense.  Although I suspect we'll see some pictures or hints about it (like we did with the 80GB model) before it comes out.
