Then you'd have a point if we're measuring things in terms of the NES or SNES, but I remember the Gamecube and ESPECIALLY the N64 days, and I have to say that their production compared to those eras is nothing short of astounding.
It's been two and a half years, and according to this site they've already released 40 titles (it'll be 42 by Mid-May). Realistically it's only 35, since five of those are New Play Control.
By contrast, over SIX years for the Gamecube, they released 61 titles.
So we're looking at them doing over half the releases in less than half the time. The contrast with the N64 is even more stark.
Nah, the quantity's there. The problem, I think, is just one of perception: they released a crapload of stuff in the first year and a half or so, and so they've spent the past year recharging.
Although I think we're in agreement that that dry spell needs to end soon.
