I'm guessing it's not much of an improvement over CryEngine 2, although Crytek seems very able so it's not entirely impossible either. Oh, this is almost unbeliavably quicky considering they already had an excellent multi-platform engine (no released games doesn't equal not working).
Unreal Engine a fiasco? How are you looking at it? I'm guessing it was, is and will be a huge financial success. However, personally (and apparently I'm not the only one) I hate the way games made on it look like.
