I still don't get this whole "cash in" angle.
Is it a cash in because it will recount story events from existing games in the series? Because then REmake was just as cheap cash in.

Is it a cash in because it's a rail shooter? Because then RE:UC was a cheap cash in and that game rocked.

Or is it a cash in because Railshooters are so short? Because Umbrella Chronicles had hours and hours of gameplay.

Is it a cash in because it isn't RE 5? The game that was announced for PS3 and 360 long before the Revolution had even been unveiled? Because that's just silly.

I'd just like someone to explain to me how a sequel to a very successful and fun game that had lots of effort and polish is going to be a cheap cash in.

The producer of RE:UC admitted that Capcom changed the game from a tradition RE title to light gun game to save development time and costs. That is where the cheap cash in angle  comes in. It's ridiculous for them to screw the Wii userbase again. RE4 sold more than RE:UC. You think they'd come up with a traditional RE experience for Wii fans, but no they are just churning out another rail shooter. Well, I'm not buying it. I'm not buying Dead Space either. Capcom can shoehorn Dead Rising onto the RE4 engine but they can't even do the same with a new RE game. I want an actual RE game with Wii controls. Playing RE5 after playing RE4 Wii edition is huge step backwards.

@Star Scream

Wait did you say, developed by Cavia? Cavia of Bullet Witch fame? Oh this just gets better and better. Why don't they just rename the game Resident Evil FU Wii Owners Edition.
