Well that's easy. You show them the amazing movies that sparked a phenomena. And then when they're older, you allow them to see the awful movies that resulted from said phenomena. At which point you plan a marathon that goes

1. A New Hope
2. Empire Strikes Back
3. The Phantom Menace
4. Attack of the Clones
5. Revenge of the Sith
6. Return of the Jedi.

If you're going to watch all 6, this really is the only way to do it. Watching them in order of time made is silly and watching them in order of episode number kills the whole awesomeness of the original trilogy part. So you watch the originals, and then when you get hit with the big whammy, you get 3 movies that tell you how that big whammy happened and finally finish it off with the thrilling conclusion.
