I am not disagreeing with any of the statements that are saying that the Wii's mediocre sales for FPS are partially to blame because the games themselves have been mediocre.
What I'm saying is that CoD is a huge franchise and the game wasn't bad. The Conduit, on the other hand, is an unknown commodity. Average Joe that doesn't follow gaming like people on this site is more likely to pick up CoD instead of the Conduit if they are side by side on a shelf.
Also, no one has played the Conduit and doesn't know if it's any good or not. It was developed by those guys that did the 50 Cent game. Right? Sorry if this makes me a bit skeptical. I remember another game, named Red Steel, getting similar hype.
Honestly I hope that the Conduit is awesome, and sells 15 million copies, but I don't see that happening.
