lolz at the wii software attach ratio. For a console that selling gangbusters, their attach ratio is poor compared to it's competition and their hardware install base.

This gives me a new thread idea: responses to all the tired, old Wii-bashing arguments. That way, we could all just cut-n-paste replies to the same old posts...But until then I'll settle for bullet points.

-Console owners' tastes tend to diversify as the install base increases: they don't all buy the same stuff.

-Attach ratios are a stupid metric, as they make poor-selling consoles look great and high-selling consoles look poor.

-For example, by your logic the Gamecube is the best console of last generation for moving software, with the PS2 being far and away the worst. Sound about right to you?

-I'm leaving now, but will be happy to address your response tomorrow.
