Why it seems nothing can beat Wii/Ds despite great games/price cuts?

the controls is the only reason it is selling so well+the launch price of the console was by far the cheapest....
the competitors at the time was expensive and they are still expensive

but the main selling point of the system is the function of the motion-sensor controller(s)
