Maybe those people really had no problems with the controls, and would not have thought that anyone would find adapting to acceleration and inertia impossible. I am one of those, and I would call it amazement rather than denial.

Viceversa still saying that those (in)famous video are the proof that people are having troubles because of the lag monster? That's denial of every comment, link, measure we went through in those threads.

Not double standards, just debating subjective opinions vs fact-checking.

Oh please in that thread everyone just glanced over the deadzone video and acted like it didn't exist because there was no way to dispute it.  Instead it degenerated in a bunch of fanboys only focusing ont he other vid, claiming there was no lag and that it was the TV the guy used despite the video showing the XMB having no lag, thus proving it was not the TV.  The real problem with the controls is the deadzone and intial movement speed that acceleration started at, not lag, not acceleration.  These can both be easily fixed and wouldn't change KZ2 gameplay that fanboys defend at all, they would just make the controls not suck so much.  Too many fanboys still claiming no issues though calling peoples noobs and haters in defence of their beloved game to not realise they are cutting off their nose to spite their face.

That wasn't about adapting to the controls it was just acknowledging the problems existed.  Adapting is a whole other issue.  Most fanboys seem happy that if a fork would be stuck into there eyes making the game 'more challenging' or as they put it people should just adapt to it and play the game, where as most people disliking the controls are questioning why anyone would want a game that sticks a fork into there eyes in the first place, finding it unacceptable.

If anyone doesn't get that analogy, I do not care.

You need learn what double standards are also if you don't think there are any in calling one person out for stating (again) one thing when those who state the opposite (again) aren't called out.  That is a double standard...

OT:  As I already said, the controls have barely changed.  Anyone calling it CoD needs to stop talking.

Enough talking to brick walls from me.

Or maybe we just don't notice the problems, as everyone has been saying to you for a month now.

"Fixing" the deadzone would cause a massive discrepancy, because everyone who sucked at the game would be brilliant, and everyone who had been practicing would suck. It's not an "improvement", it's just something new to get used to.

And if you want to talk to a brick wall, there's always your sig

OT: I noticed a small improvement in the controls, particularly when using the M82 dot sight from long range. It's not CoD. It's just a slightly improved Killzone.

I'm doing way better than I was pre-patch, but a lot of that is just practice. I sure as hell wasn't good at CoD4 online the first time I played, same with Unreal Tournament III. The only FPS I found easy immediately was Bad Company, because it was basically a CoD4 ripoff.
