The only figure I've ever seen them quote was 2.3 million.

 

In the 360 Famitsu a few weeks back. They also said they wanted RE5 to sell 500k on PS3 in Japan alone.

If the translation was right than the game will bomb like hell, cause I'm convinced they won't make either sales goal.

2.3 million should be easy, I think it could go past 3 million both platforms combined.
