Reviewer in general this gen are complete garbage in my opinion. Regardless of the game or the system it is filled with so many cry babies.

Theres some truth in what you speak, but it's not even that the maturity level has regressed, but what can be considered "professional" is very loose now in that industry.

...I think it's the realization that the core dem is small, and gaming is becoming mainstream is what hurts the most, lol.

 

I'll be first to admit I am having trouble making the transition. Other than a select few titles, JRPG are severely lacking this gen and it hurts me badly.

For the last 2 generations I was strictly JRPG with a couple othe genres thrown in like a God of War, Mario64 or Mario Kart. My PS2 collection alone stands around 50 JRPG titles out of the 70 games I own and another 30 or so on the PS1. I just can't find enjoyable gaming like that for me anymore and it sucks so damn much!!!!
