You guys are playing the selfish angle the wrong way. It's in Nintendo's best interest to get their little add on attached to as many Wiimotes as possible. The SELFISH thing to do is bundle it with RS 2 as it substantially increases the chances of further third party dev support and "hardcore offerings" And they already did bundle the Wii Zapper with Umbrella Chronicles in Japan and Korea dark_gh0st.
