What are franchises that you gave a second chance to, and regretted it?

I gave GTA a slight chance... And it failed me. IV was no better than the previous ones. Actually they had made the camera worse and, it seems, the shooting system as well. Luckily I never bought the game - my brother did so I didn't have to.
