What? This is exports from Japan to other countries.

It's terrible news for Sony and most other Japanese exporters. It's not that bad for Nintendo since they're just a gaming company, not affected by low electronics demand.

PS: I just checked and the drop was 35% in December (I suppose year-on-year as well):

Whoooooops, I meant the gaming division of Sony.

 

I know this is horrible news, but there's so much damn negative news going around that I'm just trying to find the tiny bit of light I can. :P
