Edge gave it a 7, 1up a 7.5 ect. 6.5 makes sense in the context of the other reviews (and none of the reviews, even the Xbox magazine ones, are particularly glowing compared with other big releases like Gears of War 2 or Halo 3). Maxim's review was surprising given that a lot of outlets have given Killzone 2 a perfect score (10 or 5 out of 5) so a 7 seems outside the 8-10 range. 6.5 is not really outside the range at all in this case and after watching the video review makes perfect sense. |
There is a website which gave Halo Wars a 10/10.
By your logic it's not out of the range, because 10/10 is closer to the current average score than the 6.5 from Gamespot.
